By using a base of classical Pilates moves and then adding a twist incorporating standing functional Pilates and the use of props, your core will be challenged! Most exercises will be performed on the mat and props such as the Pilates circle, balls, bands and light weights will be added to the class to maximize your workout. This 45-minute class will build strength in your core, improve posture and alignment, increase flexibility, improve balance, mobility using the Pilates reformer. Props are sometimes used to shift the focus to a particular point in the body. This may be mixture of mat and reformer work, but every class focuses on connection to core muscles. No previous reformer knowledge is require, but it is helpful for the class. Drop in rate of $15, cash or check only.
